CELEBRATING TATAY'S DAY

Tatay, Dad, Father, Papa, whatever we may call them, I can say that like any other best dad's, PAPA IPE, which I have mentioned in my previous posts, is a very loving father and a great provider. In return, I wanted to make him feel extra special for this father's season. Like what we did on his 50th birthday, we celebrated Father's day through food tripping. This time, I chose to eat at Jay J's, a new restaurant at SM Fairview with all the Filipino dishes which are truly mouth watering blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com. Let the pictures speak for itself.

The night ended so well with all of us gone home with full tummy. blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

Yeah, Imma Professional Baby!

I want to thank all those who gave comments at my previous post about my grandma, she passed away early morning (June 20, 2009). Thanks for your prayers. I know she is with the Lord right now.

If you read the about me section here, you probably know that I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (BS MATH, minor in teaching). Yes, you've read it right! I am a full pledged licensed teacher but I am not practicing my profession. Well, maybe because I got tired of teaching even before I can actually practice my course. Since High School, my teachers chose me as one of the student teachers during the TEACHER's WEEK and in college, I also taught mathematics subjects (algebra, statistics, differential equations and others) to some colleges and courses blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com. I graduated 2003 at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Proud to be a PUPian blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com(yeah I know, i am older than what you think, but of course, I still look young!!.. right?). I took my Board examination at Lyceum of the Philippines and I am proud to pass it (even without reviewing, harhar). Anyway, I got my Professional ID from PRC last February 2004 and it expired last October 2006. Since then, I haven't renewed it, oh well, maybe because I am not using it. However, I realize that it is an achievement that I should give value to, so there, last Tuesday, I went to PRC with Bhoyet who will also renew his license.

'Twas a hustle day, since it's raining really hard, plus there is a threat from AH1N1 virus, because PRC is near those universities which have a case of the virus. But, good thing, I am only renewing my license, so we just spent few minutes there. I got to pay P1090 including the penalties since I haven't renewed it for 3 years. I'll be back in PRC at august to get my new ID.

After that, another important thing that I have to accomplish is to get my Diploma, yeah I know, it's 2009 and I haven't gotten my diploma from my ALMA MATER. So there, we went to PUP, and reminisce my college days. Sadly, I haven't tried the famous dome, and did not went at the lagoon. Anyway, I went up at the 6th floor and i realize now how much I am losing weight when I was in college blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com. So there, we went at West Wing 116 and the receptionist smiled (sarcastically) after he knew that I graduated 2003 and I am only getting my diploma after 100 years. Anyway, now I can proudly say that I am a CERTIFIED GRADUATE blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com.

And by the way. I want to thank MISS KAYE for my new siggy. See, isn't it sexy?

TOXIC!

How's everyone? hope you are all fine, especially those students and hope you are out of danger from AH1N1, which is now in the Philippines' zone. So anyway, I have lots of stories to tell for this week. But I am so much bothered with the thoughts that one of my lola's (grandma) mother side) is in coma right now. Though we're not that close to her because we only met her about 3 years ago, she always sees to it that she greets me and find time to talk with me. She's already 73 years old and she travels from Quezon province to visit her grandchildren who lives here in Manila. Yesterday, she arrived in the afternoon and about pass 10:00 PM last night, she told my aunt that her head is aching and so my brother in-law checked her blood pressure and found that her BP is 240/160 which is way way far from normal. My mom called me to help my aunt have some first aid and I felt something really bad will happen. But in my mind, I am praying and hoping that she is still fine. She even told my bro-in-law that she wanted to go to the hospital, maybe because she felt that she can't no longer tolerate the pain. We did some reflexology with my lola, applying pressures from different parts of her body, to help her lower her blood pressure and she fell asleep. After wards, we decided to bring her to the hospital. Honie carried lola inside the cab and he felt that she held him tight. Since she is semi-conscious, i thought that everything will be fine. But unfortunately, when they arrived at the hospital, the Doctors told my tita that lola had a broken capillary and bloods are all over her head. She is in coma right now and the doctor said that there is a possibility that she will not recover. Now I know that the only thing that can help her is prayer. They put a catheter and dextrose with an oxygen machine to help her breathe. She is still in the hospital and tomorrow, me and honie will visit her. Please Pray for her and hope that God will here all our prayers for her immediate recovery.

Supposedly, I am to buy a new shoes but since the market is really big, I got tired and decided to go home after shopping. I bought two tops from the fashion section, yellow and pink tees and I bought pink terno for MISZHA.Then, I also bought a new cabinet because honie keeps on complaining with my clothes and I also bought a hot dog pillow which I call coycoy I have to replace the old one (trivia, can't sleep without coycoy!.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY and HAPPY FATHER's day PAPA "IPE", that's what we call him.. The greatest father and the best provider in the world, of course!! Anyways, it's his 50th birthday today, the eldest in their family. I remember when we had some misunderstanding before my birthday. I thought we will not celebrate it because he is mad at me and we're not talking for a week during those times. He asked my sister what I want for my birthday and I told Nhess, that its up to him. Since we're not talking he passed his message to my sister and vice versa. Until my sister gave up and told us that we should be talking, its my birthday anyway. That was a decade ago and that is how my father is. He always sees to it that he gives us everything we need, even if it means working harder. I can't thank him enough, that is why I am trying to give back what he has done for us.

This time, we celebrated his birthday (my treat) at Max's Restaurant at SM fairview. We ordered two sets of menu" Sets A and C, with different dishes, mostly filipino dishes. It is my way of thanking him for all the things he has done for us and for always making us feel secure and loved. Let the pics do the talking now.. :D

PC UPGRADE

Hello, everyone, sorry if I haven't been updating here for the past days. Still have many tasks but it's better than none at all. So anyways, previously, I have planned to work at home this week, but unfortunately, the windows system of my PC crashed, because of restarting over and over due to electricity failure. I think Meralco intentionally shut it off due to heavy rains. So anyways, I immediately called our ever reliable Kua Ronald (company technician) to fix the problem. I brought it to the office and after an hour, my PC is working as if nothing happened. He also do some checking and found out that I have collected 712 viruses , good thing AH1N1 is not included (wii). Anyway to solve the problem of restarting, I decided to buy a battery backup, plus I also upgraded the memory of my PC fro 512 mb to 1 gigabyte and also put some video card and I paid P5000 pesos.

By the way, I already got payments from blogging which is more than $1000, all in all. I am planning to buy LCD monitor for my PC and also a new mobile phone. But I am having a hard time choosing between Nokia 7390 and LG KC550. Both are fashion phones from their respective companies. Any suggestions from you? Your opinion really matters.

So there, thanks for your time reading.

Their actual birthday is on May 31st, but its Sunday so they gave us a treat last Friday. I requested for a chocolate mousse cake of red ribbon and of course, it was so delish. We also have Pansit Malabon.

Yesterday, Honie's niece (Keisha) celebrated her second birthday and Miszha was invited. Here some some of the pix from the party. By the way, there were also two clowns and they had magic and balloon twisting portion. The clown gave me a flower balloon wii .
