If you read the about me section here, you probably know that I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (BS MATH, minor in teaching). Yes, you've read it right! I am a full pledged licensed teacher but I am not practicing my profession. Well, maybe because I got tired of teaching even before I can actually practice my course. Since High School, my teachers chose me as one of the student teachers during the TEACHER's WEEK and in college, I also taught mathematics subjects (algebra, statistics, differential equations and others) to some colleges and courses
. I graduated 2003 at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Proud to be a PUPian
(yeah I know, i am older than what you think, but of course, I still look young!!.. right?). I took my Board examination at Lyceum of the Philippines and I am proud to pass it (even without reviewing, harhar). Anyway, I got my Professional ID from PRC last February 2004 and it expired last October 2006. Since then, I haven't renewed it, oh well, maybe because I am not using it. However, I realize that it is an achievement that I should give value to, so there, last Tuesday, I went to PRC with Bhoyet who will also renew his license.'Twas a hustle day, since it's raining really hard, plus there is a threat from AH1N1 virus, because PRC is near those universities which have a case of the virus. But, good thing, I am only renewing my license, so we just spent few minutes there. I got to pay P1090 including the penalties since I haven't renewed it for 3 years. I'll be back in PRC at august to get my new ID.
After that, another important thing that I have to accomplish is to get my Diploma, yeah I know, it's 2009 and I haven't gotten my diploma from my ALMA MATER. So there, we went to PUP, and reminisce my college days. Sadly, I haven't tried the famous dome, and did not went at the lagoon. Anyway, I went up at the 6th floor and i realize now how much I am losing weight when I was in college
. So there, we went at West Wing 116 and the receptionist smiled (sarcastically) after he knew that I graduated 2003 and I am only getting my diploma after 100 years. Anyway, now I can proudly say that I am a CERTIFIED GRADUATE
.And by the way. I want to thank MISS KAYE for my new siggy. See, isn't it sexy?

It's good that you've renewed your license so you can back to teaching if ever bumalik ang passion mo for it in the future. :) Buti na lang ate at naclaim mo pa din diploma mo from them even after 6 years, nagwowonder kasi ako pano nila naitatago yun.
