Holiday Rant

Nothing much have happened after Christmas. well, not like when I was a child when we are going to Laguna during the Christmas vacation, I just spend most of my time with my family, and do the usual since I decided to work on the 26th and 29th to get the P5000 incentive for the quality and quantity. I also watched some series like death note (anime), NAruto and CSY new york.

Well, last sunday me and my honie decided to watch one of the entries at the Metro Manila Film Festival. We are choosing betwee Baler and Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat. But since I am fond of the trailer of the latter, we decided to watch TINL. The movie was not that spectacular but I enjoyed watching and I think its worth my money. We laugh real hard on different scenes. But after I the MMFF awarding which makes Anne Curtis the best actress, I think I want to have a glance of Baler. But sad to say, honie did not like the idea.. hmmpp. anyway.. enough of this rant.,

Though bessy bhem is on California and busy shopping and strolling there we still got the chance to chat. Well, I am still waiting for her gifts (package) and I think I have to wait until 2009 for it..

Christmas Celeb

It has always been a pleasure seeing people who are always visiting my blog and I am so happy that I have met all of you. Well, like anyone else, I really had a great Christmas this year. I attended the mass on the 24th before the Noche Buena with my brother. I will never miss it coz its the only time of the year that I am really attending the mass.

Anyway, I miss being part of the Church. When I was in High School I am a member of the Church youth ministry and we do interpretative dancing, role playing during the holiday season and holy week. I really miss that, but everything has changed now. (enough of reminiscing!!)..

Okay, as I was saying, Christmas was a lot of fun. My Godchildren went to the house to get their gifts and its always been a fun experience. Truly, Christmas is for children and for children at heart. Gave my Christmas presents to my family, and also opened the gifts they bought me. Its really heartwarming to see your family filled with happiness and with the blessings that we have received this year, i really thank God for everything.

Well, this Christmas would be the most memorable since its also the first Christmas that we have baby Miszha. Well, to sum it up, I think I can consider this year a very blessed year.

I have able to buy some of the things on my wish lists, and I know God will still guide me and my family to achieve my goals and my family's. Thank you for being part of my world. Some of you have really became close to my heart.

I will also take my leave here, I will try to visit you if I have the time, though. I will surely miss you.. Hope everyone will have Merry and Blessed Christmas and Happy and Prosperous New Year. Birthday Madness

Well, first off, i want to say kaire (20), Bhem(dec. 21) and nanay (my grandma (dec. 22) . Though its sad that kaire is at bulacan right now to celebrate her birthday with us. I so miss baby kaire.. Anyway, my grandma's birthday will be tomorrow so I guess, we'll just prepare some to celebrate nanay's special day. Today, its my bessy bhem's birthday.I have posted my gifts for her at friendster comments, I know its simple and could not surpass the gifts I received from her but its the thought that counts.. I also bought her cakes and a simple gift and bought some of my addictions. Of course, the japanese nissin seafood is always present.

I want to say thanks for making me a part of your life and considering me as one of your best friends. You know how much I value our friendship and of course, how much I value you.

Christmas Party

Every year, we are excited with our Christmas party, why? we have been to different venues like Albas, Marios, Alfredos, Kimono Ken and others. But now, because of the global recession and credit crunches that affects the financial stability of countries and industries, I think, the Christmas party was not as fabulous as the pasts, but the spirit still lives on. The venue of the party is at Cafe Fleur de Lys.
I am still excited though because its the time where we recognize writers who have performed well in the year 2008. Last year, I have been awarded as the WRITER OF THE YEAR, this year, my friend EM was awarded and she so deserve it. I guess, she's right on saying that having this kind of award is self-fulfillment and something that can be treasured and you can only get it if you have the goal and motivation.

But I am surprised that I am still able to get some awards. I know that the pressure is on me since everyone is expecting for me to perform well and sustain my position. What good about it is I never put the pressure on my head. I am still the Gelene that everyone knew, happy go lucky, but reliable and with my dedication and my love with the company, I was awarded as the Writer of the Month of August, November and December and Writer of the 4th Quarter. God is really good because of so many blessings for the year 2008. I also like to congratulate my co-writers who have been awarded, Marlene and Jenevieve, you deserve it and may you have more to come.



My achievement as a writer is really something that I can be proud of and of course my family. When I was young, I dreamed of working in an establishment that do not require uniform, company that I can do whatever I want without being pressured from the bosses and work that will recognized all my hardwork.
